Basic Purpose:
This individual will be a member of the online services development team. Mission Research is looking for a web services developer to be involved with the design, development, and deployment of online services for our small-business and non-profit desktop products. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the development of a new product line based around web services which provide online tools for our growing base of desktop customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use proper programming techniques to develop web-based products and solutions.
• Understand testing techniques to ensure a high level of quality.
• Must be able to work with other developers.
• Create design specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• 3 years experience designing, developing, and deploying web-based solutions.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of related Microsoft development languages and technologies, including ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server and Windows Server.
• Must understand the software development process.
• Fast and motivated learner – needs to get up-to-speed on GiftWorks application, and corporate structure independently and quickly.
• Must possess the skills and personality to be a member of a small team.

• Understanding of nonprofit organizations or small businesses
