Mission Research Releases Premium Fundraising Software for Nonprofits
LANCASTER, Pa., July 31, 2008 -- Mission Research, developer of GiftWorks™, the fastest growing fundraising software for nonprofits, released GiftWorks 2008 Premium on June 16.
GiftWorks™ 2008 Premium is the second of two new technology solutions to support fundraising efforts by nonprofits to be released this spring by Mission Research. GiftWorks™ 2008 Standard, an upgrade from the 2006 version, was released in April.
"Nonprofits can't afford to spend additional time and resources struggling with software that doesn't deliver the information management they need to effectively raise the needed funds to accomplish their important mission," said Mary Pat Donnellon, Executive Vice President of Mission Research.
Director of GiftWorks Development Steve Fafel adds, "Just as nonprofits are constantly growing more savvy and making more demands for technology, we are committed to providing a constant flow of additional features and functionality, while still maintaining the values we started with."
GiftWorks™ 2008 Premium, a comprehensive fundraising and donor management solution, is an enhanced version of GiftWorks™ 2008 Standard. Four additional features build on the increased capabilities of GiftWorks™ 2008 Standard:
-- Enhanced Security protects vital donor and donation information with user defined roles and access
-- Seasonal Address Management automatically updates multiple donor mailing addresses
-- USPS Compatibility assists users meet the standards to achieve lower postage rates for volume mailings
-- More Custom Fields tracks detailed donor and donation information
Mission Research has experienced a 20 percent customer growth rate in the first half of 2008.
"Demands for streamlining work and information management continue to grow even in a sagging (United States) economy," says Donnellon. "Nonprofits of all sizes will see the return on their technology investment in time management alone when purchasing GiftWorks, not to mention the savings organizations can achieve in postage discounts when sending volume mailings."
GiftWorks™ 2008 Premium retails for $699 per license, making it more affordable than other fundraising software programs currently available to nonprofit organizations. More than 90 percent of nonprofits and most of Mission Research's customers fall in to the small-to-medium size category (annual revenues up to $1 million).
"Increasingly, larger nonprofits are also seeing the incredible value of GiftWorks and the benefits of feature-rich GiftWorks 2008 Premium. Every dollar matters to nonprofits and we are pleased to be able to offer a product that is affordable and easy to use for nonprofits of any size," says Donnellon.
To support needs specific to volunteer management, Mission Research offers GiftWorks™ Volunteers, which helps nonprofits manage and use their volunteers most effectively. The software is offered as an option for an additional $199. All software solutions can be purchased online at www.MissionResearch.com/GiftWorks.
